Taka Shino
A 5'4 teenage boy who still hasn't hit puberty, Taka is the main character. Shy, gullible and has a poor habit of ending up in awkward situations.
Ayumi Yamune
Beautiful, smart, charming, and surprisingly modest Ayumi is the girl of every man's dreams. Including Taka's.
Katsumori (Katsu)Takanamo
Even standing at an inch shorter than Taka (but his hair is tall), Katsumori is very open, laid back and well liked. He is also Taka's only and best friend.
Maiko Aihara
Maiko is Ayumi's best friend. Pretty but hotheaded, she has a tendency to come off sounding either older than intentional or otherwise just plain rude. And yes, she continuously rejects Katsu on a superficial basis.
